| What is HomeLink? | A car integrated remote control. The HomeLink Module must be set up for the remote control used, e.g. it "learns" the code from an original hand transmitter. The HomeLink Module copies the algorythm of our Rolling Code System and becomes an additional hand transmitter generating its own code when programmed successfully. |
| Compatibility | MINI receivers from software version "DMCG1V1" are compatible with HomeLink (from Revision 6). MINI receivers with this latest software are available from Juli 2005 approx.. MINI receivers with an older software version are NOT compatible to HomeLink. Please inform your dealer in advance, when you intend to use a MINI receiver with a HomeLink system. |
